The members of the Glengarriff GAA Club’s Under Fourteen Team had an enjoyable trip to Cork to attend the Cork vs. Dublin National Football League game which was played under lights at Pairc Ui Rinn. As well as seeing Cork record a good victory over the Dubs the youngsters got the opportunity to take some photographs with the Cork players and collect their autographs. They also got the chance to visit the Rebels dressing rooms where they collected some mementos of the occasion and meet the backroom team including team manager Conor Counihan and selectors Peadar Healy and Terry O'Neill. County star Colm O’Neill presented the Club with a Cork jersey signed by all the players. The youngsters were accompanied by Gerard Galvin, Tony McElhinney and Terence O'Shea.
The members of the U14 panel that travelled were;
Gearoid O'Sullivan, Cillian Collins, Michael O'Sullivan, Conor Lancaster, Steven O'Sullivan, Robbie O'Donovan, Sean McCarthy, Cian Elliott, Eoghan McElhinney, Paudie O'Sullivan, Thomas O'Donovan, Dylan O'Mahony, Shane Lyne, Fergal O'Sullivan, Tadhg McCarthy, George Goff and James Murphy.
