Allianz National Football League - Cork v Dublin

posted 30 Mar 2012, 14:13 by Glengarriff GAA   [ updated 2 Apr 2012, 05:27 by Unknown user ]
With qualification for the Allianz Hurling League Semi-finals now secured, the focus this week is on football, with the final round game to be played on Sunday.

Following Dublin's heavy defeat by Mayo this weekend in the re-fixture of their Round 2 game, postponed earlier in the season due to fog, it's now all to play for in Páirc Uí Chaoimh next Sunday.

Only Kerry can be certain of a semi-final spot at this stage, and following a strong performance tonight, Mayo must fancy their chances in Tralee.

Cork must take at least a point from the All-Ireland champions next Sunday to be certain of qualification, but even if they lose, may still go through depending on other results, such as defeat for Down and/or Mayo. However, nothing can be taken for granted, and support is vital in Páirc Ui Chaoimh next Sunday.

When: Sunday, April 8th

Venue: Páirc Uí Chaoimh

Time: 2.30pm

Admission: €13 for adults, with concessions €5 and U16s FREE.

The Cork team for Sunday's game will be released here on Thursday.
